Halloween Hyping - Looking Back & Setting the Stage
October is typically my busiest Tumblring month and 2011 will be no different.
I just love digging into as many horror films and logging my viewings on this trusty tumblelog. As a list aficionado, I thought I’d collect my prior 3 years worth of Octobertime horror viewings into one post here, for my own personal enjoyment and as a quick reference to look back on and potentially update at the end of each horrific viewing season.
So, for the hell of it, let’s turn back the clock and list some shit and see what I checked out over the recent years.
Looking over the lists, I’ve increased the number of films I’ve watched each year. Not sure that pattern will continue, but we’ll see. I’m VERY surprised that there are no films listed more than once below. That really doesn’t seen accurate… I may have forgotten to log some because certain films I could swear that I’ve seen more than once during October over the prior 3 years (i.e. Halloween, The Evil Dead, The Shining, Halloween III…). Highly doubt that pattern will continue but I do certainly like seeing new (to me) horror films or ones I haven’t caught in a while during this time-frame.
